German Navy Pea Coat

Naval pea coats always look sharp and here's another one, this time from Germany. These are not as heavy or thick as other navy pea coats we've stocked nevertheless they will keep the chill off and still look dapper with a nautical hint. The fabric is a fine wool twill and the double breasting really pops with brass buttons. The interior is silky and a removable liner adds warmth for those colder chills. One inner breast pocket and 2 slash hip pockets for storage, danke schön. Some of these are labled from 1989 and in combination with the pocket style suggests a West German origin, from the Bundesmarine.

Sizing: Slim fit. The first number is the chest circumference, the second size is the recommended height of the wearer. To find your coat size, measure the circumference of your chest, under the armpits. If you're near the listed limit, or plan on wearing a thick under garment, we would recommend a size up
